Privacy Policy — Who Am I? (እኔ ማነኝ)

This privacy policy explains how the "Who Am I? (እኔ ማነኝ)" mobile app ("the App"), developed by Michias Hailu / TopNotchTechy, handles information. The App is a Big Five (Mini-IPIP) personality test.

Summary

The App does not require an account, does not collect your name, email, or any personally identifying information, and does not operate any servers that store your test answers or results. Your responses and results stay on your device. The only outside data flow is advertising, handled by Google AdMob, which is described below.

Information stored on your device

The App uses local on-device storage (Android SharedPreferences) to remember:

• Your most recent test answers and results, so you can view them again without retaking the test
• Your language preference (Amharic/English) and display theme

This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to the developer or any third party, and is deleted automatically if you clear the App's data or uninstall it.

Sharing your results

The App can generate a shareable image summarizing your results. This image is created locally on your device. It is only sent anywhere if you explicitly choose to share it using your device's standard share menu (for example, to WhatsApp, Telegram, or Messages) — the developer never receives a copy.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is supported by advertising and uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process data such as:

• Advertising identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location
• Device information (model, OS version, language)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

Data retention and deletion

Since results and preferences are stored only on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it from your device. The developer holds no copy of this data and cannot delete it on your behalf, because it was never received.

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. The "Effective date" above will be updated whenever changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
